Writing a good review

• Summarise the manuscript and its contribution in a few sentences.
• List major points (validity, methods, interpretation) and minor points separately.
• Be specific, constructive and courteous; do not ask authors to cite your work unless it is essential.
• Give your recommendation in the form, not in the comments to authors.

Confidentiality and conflicts

Keep the manuscript confidential, do not upload it to AI tools, and decline if you have a competing interest.

Recognition

You receive a certificate for every completed review and are thanked in each journal's annual reviewer acknowledgement.
